Wiro Mag: Focus

Focus is an essential component of achieving personal and collective goals, and entering a state of focus allows us to maximise how much effort we can invest into an important pursuit. Art practice is often a lonely and isolating endeavour that forces the individual to act on their intentions and convictions while carefully balancing their own beliefs against the expectations and viewpoints of others.

As a result, our ability to maximise how much energy and bodily resources we can assign to our goals is critical in both the conventional definitions of success, as well as internal fulfillment.

In this publication, you will find a fascinating collection of creatives who have all generously shared their time, efforts, and art to contribute to a broad study of what it means to focus as an artist and different ways the concept of focus can engage with art.
